Rail Map Online does not track any geolocation data (i.e. your location), or track which part of the map you're viewing.
If you get in touch with RailMapOnline by email or direct message us on Twitter, we won’t use your contact details for marketing or pass it on to a third party. Your email might be shared with map contributors (specifically Chris Lowe for canal map feedback, and Thomas Werker-Werth for trolleybus feedback).
Rail Map Online does use the Google Maps API to provide some of the maps, so when you look at an area the mapping imagery comes direct from Google using their software, and your browser will communicate with Google.
Some third party pages are linked from Rail Map Online pages, including Twitter, Google, Ko-Fi and Wikipedia. These are simple links to those sites, with no tracking code or cookies. RailMapOnline does not have control over the content of the linked pages.
